Est. 2020 · Dwarka, Delhi About Hover Blue Aviation

Built by Airline Pilots,
For Future Aviators

We started Hover Blue Aviation to give Delhi's aspiring pilots something the exam-prep circuit doesn't: ground training led by people who actually fly the line, and honest guidance through every phase that follows — flying school, conversion, and type rating.

Our Story

Grounded in experience, built for the skies.

Hover Blue Aviation was founded on a simple observation: most DGCA ground schools teach students to pass an exam, not to think like a pilot. We set out to close that gap — pairing structured, syllabus-complete ground classes with the practical judgement that only comes from years in the cockpit.

Over the past six years, that approach has taken us from a single batch in Dwarka to a full pathway — ground school, flying training partnerships across five countries, conversion support, and type rating connections — guiding more than 500 students toward their licenses.

We stay small enough to know every student by name, and connected enough to place them with the right flying school, in the right country, on the right budget. That balance — personal, yet genuinely global — is what Hover Blue Aviation is built on.

01

Founded in Delhi

Hover Blue Aviation begins as a DGCA ground school in Dwarka Sector 7, built around one idea — teach the way working pilots actually apply the concepts.

02

First Batches, Real Results

Early students clear DGCA exams and move into flying training, proving the airline-first teaching approach in practice.

03

Global FTO Partnerships

We build vetted partnerships with flying schools across the USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and India, so students fly on a budget and timeline that fits them.

04

500+ Students & Counting

Today, Hover Blue Aviation supports students through ground school, flying training, license conversion, and type rating placement — a complete route to the cockpit.

What We Stand For

The principles behind every batch.

These aren't wall posters — they're how we actually run the academy, day to day.

01

Real Airline Experience

Every core concept is taught the way it's actually used in the cockpit, not just how it appears in the exam.

02

Honest Guidance

We tell students what a career actually requires — timelines, costs, and effort — before they commit.

03

Personal Mentorship

Small batches and direct faculty access, so no student is just a name on a register.

04

Safety-First Culture

Every subject we teach traces back to one goal — building pilots who fly safely, first and always.

05

A Genuine Global Network

Vetted FTO partnerships across five countries, so students get the right flying school, not just any flying school.

06

End-to-End Support

We stay with students from their first ground class through license conversion and type rating placement.

Why this matters: Delhi has no shortage of ground schools promising quick results. We'd rather take longer to build a student's understanding properly — because a rushed foundation shows up later, in a cockpit, when it matters most.

Head of Academy — Commander, Air India

Capt. Mohit Kumar brings 21 years of active airline flying experience to Hover Blue Aviation, currently serving as a Commander with Air India. Having spent over two decades in the cockpit, he leads our academy with a rare, practical understanding of what it truly takes to succeed as a professional pilot.

Under his guidance, students learn concepts the way working airline pilots actually apply them — from meteorology briefings to radio calls — giving them a real edge as they move into flying training, conversion, and their own airline careers.

Capt. Kumar personally reviews the academy's teaching approach and stays closely involved with student progress, ensuring that the standard set at Hover Blue Aviation reflects what airlines genuinely expect from a new commander in training.
