Discover the phases of the DGCA CPL ground training

Phase 1 - Discover the phases of the DGCA CPL ground training

The first phase of the pilot training includes CPL Ground Classes under Hover Blue Aviation. We cover important concepts like Air Navigation, Air Regulations, Human Factors, Aviation Meteorology, and many others as CPL subjects. We create a comfortable learning experience by introducing these concepts at a moderate pace so everyone can catch up. These concepts are foundations for successful future flight operations. Within 3 months of the pilot course, you will be able to understand the basics of flight operations.

All training is taken up by retired air navigators and airforce pilots with all-round experience in ground training.

DURATION - 3 MONTHS

Phase 2 - CPL/ MULTI / IR

The practical aspect of pilot training Delhi comes to life in this phase. Once students have cleared their DGCA EPL Exams, they are able to take real-time flight training. They will now undergo CPL and Multi & Instrument Rating at our partner schools around the world, like in the US, New Zealand, and South Africa. Students can decide which training location they feel the most comfortable with. All training is taken up under the DGCA curriculum without deviations. When the pilot training is successful, you obtain licenses like FAA/ CAA NZ/ CAA SA CPL/ ME/ IR. These licenses can render you eligible to become a trainee first officer anywhere.

Hover Blue Aviation has forged meaningful partnerships with the best-in-class flying schools around the world. We mean to bring Indian aviation students closer to achieving excellence as future pilots.

DURATION USA - 7 to 8 months, NZ - 10 to 12 months, SA - 12 to 14 months

Phase 3 - DGCA conversion's flying

Phase 3 of the pilot course involves you undergoing a few skill tests here in India. You are asked to qualify by operating an Indian-registered aircraft. This is to see if you have the required skill standards to pursue a career in aviation. After successful completion, your DGCA CPL/ MULTI/ IR can be issued under DGCA.

DURATION - 2 TO 3 MONTHS

Phase 4 - Airline preparation + Type rating

The last phase in the pilot training is getting practical airline preparation and a type rating. We are affiliated with the leading rating training organization across the globe. Some prominent aircraft type ratings you can get as a student at Hover Blue Aviation are Airbus 320, Boeing 737, or ATR72-600. Indian students are seamlessly welcomed into these TRTOs, where the DGCA curriculum is accepted. Our partnership with reputed pilot training organizations ensures you have a rich experience under highly qualified instructors in a world-class training facility. Our students become well-versed with airline standards by accessing high-class modern simulators during training.

Students, from here on, undergo an airline preparation course with us. We simulate the airline selection process into various rounds or stages to help the students gain hands-on experience to crack the interviews.
